Photo editing
I've never been one two photo edit or play around with Photoshop. I have some pretty good experience with PowerPoint and Building Things in Powerpoint. So is a relief to me to know that you can do some photo editing in Powerpoint. Not only was it a program I already had but I was familiar with the way to insert things and move everything around. How was able to watch couple of videos and learn a lot about photo editing. I found it very interesting and I spent an incredible amount of time playing around with different photos that I taken putting people in different photos and having a good time with it. I did not know that you could withdraw the one person out or the one item out like that was shown in the video of removing the background. I'd always wondered how they done that so well in other edited photos I've seen. I knew you could take a photo crop it crop certain things out but to pull something right out of a middle of a photo and add it to another photo is amazing to me. The more I play around with the PowerPoint editing the more I'm enjoying it. I'm thinking in the future for a little time killer looking into an app on my phone for photo editing since that is how the majority of pictures get taken now days.
Had a couple different photos to choose from that I played around with that I edited earlier in the day. I wasn't sure what to pick so I just picked up a random couple ones that looked pretty good to me. I hope everybody enjoys the little bit of work that I done on these.

Hi Jeff! I like how you initially used PowerPoint because it was comfortable during a time of change, but ultimately ended up finding new resources within the program and learning. Isn't it amazing to see how much we can learn from what we *think* we already know? I have Adobe systems to edit photos I have taken for families, weddings, etc. However, I am not familiar with some of the transposing options. I stayed away mostly because like many "tech tools" it was intimidating. So, that was something I branched out into this past week. I haven't used PowerPoint to edit, so that is what I plan on doing next. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI was also unaware of the photo editing capabilities in PowerPoint. I knew you could crop, change color profiles, frames and stuff like that, but was actually excited that you could cut an object with out a background. I have always used Corel Draw for most of my editing, but it was a program I used for a previous job. I have heard there are easier programs and have played around with Photoshop a little bit. I think your photo's look great and are an awesome tribute to the good ole' USA!
