What makes a good Blog

            As I look up different blogs and read through some of them there are a few certain things that I find to keep me interested in the Blog. The first is the topics have to be something that is an interest to me. It seems to be more of a characteristic of the reader rather than the writer. I have to search blogs that interest me and read through those topics. The main thing that caught my eye as a writer of a blog is the ideas should be a current issue. It is easy to follow social media and find out what is trending. If a blog is on a topic that is outdated or from years ago it will be harder to keep someone's attention. As I looked through blogs I found a blog called How to Geek. I was stuck on this blog reading different posts for a long time because the topics were about things that interested me and was topics happening currently.
These are two key things that make a good blog to me. There are a few things that are almost obvious to make a good post. The post should be well written and use correct grammar and punctuation. The post should have words the readers can understand. For example, if you're writing a blog directed to kids or teens don't use large words.
I think if I can follow my own suggestions, I should be able to make some decent beginner blog posts.
