I have had the opportunity to learn a lot of new technology and work with technology that I was already familiar. I have learned and worked with Twitter Audio Editing, infographics but by far my favorite so far is Screencasting. I absolutely love making a screencasting. It was brand new to me and I didn't even know it was possible when it was introduced to me in a class. Ever since I have been completely hooked on the technology. I have made several videos for class. I have had the opportunity to make a few videos even for work. I love being able to work on the computer record what I am doing and send it to other work employees so they can see first hand how I am doing things. I am not sure that they are 100% sold on my new found love but has made work a little more enjoyable at times. I am not sure that everyone is aware of screencasting so I have made a small video showing some of the capabilities of screencasting. The video isn't anything special. It's so easy to do that...

As I was looking through the videos I was struggling trying to find the exact topic to blog on. I am currently in management so there are a lot of topics that can be a benefit to anybody in the management field. The first video I want to show you is a RSA Style video. It is a video on how to manage people and be a better leader. I have a few classes that I have taken on leadership and no matter what part of the career someone is in they are always trying to become a better leader. Just the other day our class had a guest speaker that was the CEO of Polaroid and during his presentation, he was talking about things he works on. It was surprising how much he worked on not only fits in this video but is also really basic. The importance to him and part of this video is building a good team and having teamwork.          As I look at technologies that I have learned the last few years there is one that jumps out at me. It is Uber. It is something after using is absolutely amazing. For those that don't know Uber is a technology that allows people to call for a ride and an Uber driver shows up driving their personal car. I am going to talk about just a few ways I use Uber and the benefits of Uber.          The first way I use Uber is basically just like a taxi. When I have been on vacation or travel for work I have used Uber to get from place to place. It is just as easy as a Taxi cause most places like Las Vegas has incorporated Uber into the travel department. The other way that I have used Uber is to travel to Football games. I love Boise State Football and go to plenty of there games. I have also used Uber when attending a Denver Broncos Game. The first thing I would like to touch on is the new love for two technologies this week. In class, I was introduced to Screencasting. I absolutely love it! This is something that I enjoyed doing so much. If someone hasn't had the opportunity to play around with it, please do. It is easy to do, its free, and it helps get a message across so much easier sometimes. The second technology that I fell in love this week comes from watching television. I like to watch the TV show Shark Tank and the episode I watched recently had a technology on it that I just had to begin to research. The technology on the show was called ChangEd. It helps a student pay down student loan debt.  I have found this technology in a couple other spaces like saving money or investments. My Love for the two technologies had put them together. I have been trying to find new technologies in everyday life that not only are new to me but interest me as well. Being lucky enough to travel during school time I wanted to try and find some technology that was of interest to me. Traveling out of the country to Mexico I wasn’t sure what I would come across. Staying at a nicer resort I was afraid that I wouldn’t find anything out of the norm. This concern was address almost right away. The resort that I was staying at required me to wear a wristband in order to eat at the all-inclusive restaurants. The new technology was within the wristband. In the wristband was also the room key. The wristband had technology that I would put it next to the door, like a proximity reader, to my room and it would unlock it. This is something that I have never seen before. I have only been using Twitter for the last few weeks but I am still struggling to find what the difference is between Twitter and other social media applications. They all have followers. Basically, everyone on one social media app is on the other social media app. When I try to research the difference between Facebook and Twitter I find an article that talks about the only major issue and that is money. It is an older article but seems to help prove my point.
